Hours after 12 police officers were shot in Dallas, leaving 5 dead, a Dallas County Constable Deputy decided to break his silence.

Deputy Bryan Woodard spoke out on Facebook in a live video, and despite all the sadness surrounding him, he decided to share a positive, powerful message in response to the Dallas police shootings that took place last night.

“I refuse to see hate live, while love dies,” Deputy Woodard said.
